Where is the Work

For the Final Show of the MA in Fine Art in 2013 I took part in an exhibition in the basement below S1 studios in Sheffield called Where is the Work.

In Excess

My work was titled In Excess. I hung a long piece of patterned textile that I had overpainted.

Opposite I began a collage that I worked on everyday in the gallery space throughout the exhibition. I used the images from the newspaper for that day.

I left spaces as I worked which were sometimes covered by a painting and sometimes left empty.

The floor became littered with paper cuttings.

The wall was soon filled and I continued round the corner onto the next wall.
